About our speaker

SEPTEMBER'S SPEAKER

Dr. Sean M. Roth, DO, DPM, MBA, FACEP

Partner and Chief Medical Officer of Frosty Ventures, an artificial intelligence software company specializing in med/ed-tech. He is the brainchild behind ChartChat and Ripple applications. Dr. Roth is an Emergency Medicine Staff Physician, the Director of Education as well as the Associate Director of Research for the Emergency Services Institute, Cleveland Clinic. He holds the academic position of Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He is a past flight physician with extensive International and VIP Emergency Medicine experience.

Dr. Roth graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine, and received his MBA in Healthcare with academic distinction from Tiffin University. He did his Emergency Medicine Residency at the Cleveland Clinic/Metrohealth Medical Trauma Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and his Podiatric Residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Dr. Roth is a seasoned physician with expertise in healthcare operations, risk management, quality assurance, education, medical instruction, concierge medicine, research, patient safety, access, and a successful service line, program, and protocol creator. Strong communicator with articles published in many well-renowned medical journals and the current Founder and Editor in Chief of “Topics in Emergency Medicine”.

Dr. Roth has received numerous awards and citations over his career, recently Medical Educator of the Year from the Ohio Chapter of American College of Emergency Medicine, along with several grants for program creation/development that have positively affected patient care; one such being the Acute Care Team, built to focus on time-sensitive disease processes enabling the most expeditious and concise specialty care to such patients presenting to today’s busy emergency departments. This has extensively enhanced patient outcomes for the past 10+ years.

Dr. Roth is extremely passionate about helping those who are challenged by access to healthcare, emphasizing the philosophy of doing more with less, while not compromising exceptional patient care.

In his spare time, Dr. Roth now serves on several boards and in many advisory roles, hoping to use some of his experience and knowledge base to further positively affect change.
