CyberSafely.ai and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas Join Forces to Protect Kids Online
DALLAS, TX – Some 500 families across Dallas will soon receive the gift of a powerful new technology tool designed to protect children from digital threats. CyberSafely.ai, an innovative program developed by a Cleveland-area tech startup, is teaming up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas (BGCD) to provide families with free access to a groundbreaking AI-powered safety app—created to help save lives and prevent tragedies before they happen.
A New Approach to Digital Safety
Unlike traditional parental controls, CyberSafely.ai goes beyond simple keyword flags or device-specific monitoring. The app leverages advanced artificial intelligence to continuously analyze children’s digital interactions across platforms, including:
Text messages
Social media
Gaming chats
Photos
Web searches
Through natural language processing and behavioral analysis, CyberSafely.ai evaluates tone, context, and conversation patterns—allowing it to detect early warning signs of potential harm before they occur.
What Risks Does It Detect?
The technology is designed to recognize a wide range of digital threats, including:
Cyberbullying
Sextortion and exploitation
Self-harm or suicidal ideation
References to weapons or school violence
Parents receive real-time alerts, empowering them to intervene before situations escalate. The app provides 24/7 protection across all devices and browsers, all while maintaining respect for children’s privacy.
Mission-Driven Technology
“As parents, we’ve seen too many children and teens whose lives have been cut short because of digital dangers online,” said Neal Alexander, founder and CEO of CyberSafely.ai.
“Our technology is built to identify risks before they become tragedies. We’re on a mission to save lives, and we’re proud to team up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas to put this technology directly into parents’ hands at no cost.”
The Role of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas
The BGCD, which supports more than 7,000 youth annually, will distribute 500 CyberSafely.ai app licenses to families across its clubs.
This partnership highlights the critical role technology can play in safeguarding children as they navigate an increasingly complex digital world. It also builds on CyberSafely.ai’s broader mission: to provide free real-time safety monitoring and intervention tools for families through school and organizational partnerships, grants, and funding initiatives.
Looking Ahead
With this new collaboration, CyberSafely.ai and BGCD aim to empower parents in the Greater Dallas area and strengthen the digital safety net for children and teens.
