A Superintendent's Perspective: Social Media Is Affecting a Child's Education with Jack Cunningham

MAY 29 2024 at 12:30 EST

Social Media Is Changing the Success of Our School Systems Because It Is Affecting Our Daily Activity

There is more-and-more evidence that confirms social media is having a profound risk of harm on the mental health and well-being of today’s student.

In addition, social media has become an education issue:

  • Is this harmful content affecting how teachers can educate?
  • Does the need to investigate incidents on social media result in a loss of instruction time?
  • How can school administrators help students of all ages identify the dangers of social media, and the potential it has of jeopardizing their futures?
